SIPLA is a range of single-stage, self-priming side channel pumps.

The Grundfos SIPLA pump range is specially designed for applications in the following sectors:

• Food and beverages
• Pharmaceuticals
• Cleaning (CIP-return)

Production standard

The pump housing and front cover are made of precisioncast stainless steel 1.4404. The impeller nut is made of stainless steel 1.4435, both are equivalent to AISI 316L. The pump shaft is made of stainless steel 1.4571, which is equivalent to AISI 316TI.

Shaft seals - choose the one to suit you

A range of shaft seal options is available to suit different media and applications. The mechanical seals used in SIPLA are single inboard seals that maintain the optimum position in the liquid. This ensures efficient cleaning and cooling.

Choices include:

• Standard seal face material: carbon/stainless steel or SiC/SiC
• O-ring material: EPDM or Viton
• Additional material, constructions and designs available upon request
