Windsor Foods, Jim Beam Bourbon Team Up To Deliver New Barbecue Brisket
New product is suitable for various menu applications
Windsor Foods and Jim Beam Bourbon have teamed up to deliver a gourmet chopped barbecue brisket to foodservice operators. The Jim Beam Chopped Barbecue Brisket is the second product co-developed between Windsor Foods and Jim Beam.
Lorena Cantu, product manager of Asian and chili/BBQ of Windsor Foods, said: “We are excited about teaming up with Jim Beam again to bring another original recipe gourmet product to the marketplace. Jim Beam Chopped Barbecue Brisket is a very special product crafted with tender, smoked briskets that are chopped not shredded to impart a chunky texture. Then we smother it in a sweet and tangy barbecue sauce flavored with Jim Beam Bourbon.”
Kelly Doss, senior director, Bourbon and Whiskeys, Beam Global Spirits & Wine, said: “Jim Beam produces the world’s finest bourbon whiskey, and Windsor is famous in the foodservice industry for its delicious, frozen, heat-and-serve barbecue. With these two category-leading brands, Windsor has developed a gourmet barbecue that’s easy for operators to prepare and market.”
