Smart Balance Set To Launch Its Enhanced Milk Nationally

Claims to provide essential support to cardiovascular and brain health
Smart Balance plans to introduce it's line of enhanced milk products all over the US. This roll-out happens in succession to the test market launch in Florida in 2008 and the introduction in markets in the Northeast in 2009. The company has identified strategic dairy partners and developed a supply network to distribute nationally. Initial shipments will begin during the first quarter of 2010.

Milk products which are set to be introduced nationally include Smart Balance Fat Free Milk and Omega-3s & Vitamin E, Smart Balance Low Fat Milk and Omega-3s & Vitamin E, Smart Balance HeartRight Fat Free Milk and Omega-3s, Vitamin E & Natural Plant Sterols and Smart Balance Fat Free Milk and Antioxidant Vitamin E.
The company claims that Smart Balance HeartRight milk contains a blend of including natural plant sterols that are clinically proven to help support healthy cholesterol levels, when used as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol. HeartRight also contains 25% more calcium and protein than whole milk. According to Smart Balance, all its milks are hormone and antibiotic free.
