Shelby Signature Foods Debuts New Organic Virgin Olive Oil In US
Shelby Signature Foods said that its new organic virgin oil, Oliovita, is now available at select retail stores in the US through Idea Foods, a distribution company for Oliovita in North America.
Idea Foods is working with various food chains to begin selling the oil, including Supervalu (Acme), Stop and Shop, Giant Landover, Giant Carlisle, Tops, Bilo, Southern Family Markets and DP Distribution.
The company claims that Oliovita oils are hand-picked and crushed to get the ripeness which limits the supply and results in an organic extra virgin olive oil.
Bob Campbell, president and founder of Idea Foods, said: We've been looking forward to the arrival of the first shipment in the United States so deliveries can begin. The interest for our premium extra virgin olive oil has been strong from both retailers and consumers, so we're pleased to begin to fulfill that demand.”
