Schroeder Milk Expands In Michigan
Acquires Farmland Dairies' Grand Rapids facility
Schroeder Milk, a Canadian dairy processor owned by Agropur's, has revealed that its US subsidiary, Schroeder Milk has acquired Farmland Dairies' Grand Rapids facility, a milk processing company located in the state of Michigan.
The Grand Rapids facility will be part of Schroeder Milk's operations and will be overseen by Schroeder Milk's president, Bob Kirchoff, who reports to the vice-president, business development for Agropur division Natrel, Ken Hume.
Pierre Claprood, CEO of Agropur's, said: This most recent acquisition is a leading manufacturer and marketer of on-trend UHT and aseptic dairy products. It represents a great fit with our current operations and will allow us to keep building a strong foundation for continued growth.”
Farmland Dairies is a manufacturer of milk and milk products. Its shelf stable Parmalat and Lil' Milk brands are produced at its HACCP facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where they process and package all UHT aseptic dairy and broth products.
