QFBI To Roll Out Paula Deen Spices To Retail Stores
The spice line to contain six custom blended varieties
Quality Food Brands (QFBI), based in Monroe Michigan and a wholly owned subsidiary of Synergy Brands, has said that it has plans to launch Paula Deen spices in retail stores.
The Paula Deen line is initially going to have six custom blended varieties of spices that include spice grinder bottles of sea salt, black peppercorns, garlic sea salt, poultry seasoning, onion sea salt, and cinnamon sugar.
Richard Cohen, president of Quality Food Brands, said: “As we head to the first quarter of 2010, we anticipate that over 50,000 outlets will carry the Paula Deen spice lines.”
The company's manufactures private label products and store brands, such as cake mix, brownie mix, bread mix, pancake mix, corn muffin mix, cookie mix, spices, box dinners kits, specialty potatoes, stuffing and pasta salads under its own propriatary labels namely: Loretta, Gourmet Select, County Fare, Country Valu, and Palm.
