PROsnack launches new Strawberry Apple Pie energy bar

FBR Staff Writer Published 30 August 2010

PROsnack Natural Foods, a Canada-based company, has launched a new flavor called 'Strawberry Apple Pie' in its ELEVATE ME! Energy Bars portfolio.

The company said that Strawberry Apple Pie energy bar is made with strawberries, apples, cranberries, raisins, dates, almonds and pure whey protein isolate.

PROsnack chief bar maker Kurt Ellingson said that this was a recipe the company worked on for a long time, and finally got it right.

The company has also relocated into a new production/office facility in North Vancouver, British Columbia, and is now hiring new staff and buying new equipment.

PROsnack president Trish Ellingson said that the company started this business in its tiny apartment, then moved to a night-kitchen and then to its own facility.

All ELEVATE ME! energy bars are made with real fruit and pure whey protein, and are gluten-free, not baked and not coated, claims PROsnack.
