McCormick Expands Recall Of Various Products
McCormick & Company has expanded a March 5, 2010 recall to include additional 'Best By' dates of products manufactured with HVP (hydrolyzed vegetable protein) supplied by Basic Food Flavors of Las Vegas, Nevada, because the ingredient has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
Till date, no illnesses have been associated with these McCormick products. Recalled products were distributed nationwide and sold in retail stores. Two of the recalled products were also distributed for sale in international markets.
The products subjected to recall include: McCormick Onion Gravy Mix sold in 0.87-ounce packages, shipped nationwide and outside the US. The products bears UPC code 52100098807.
Best by dates include: October 08 11, October 11 11, October 17 11, October 18 11, November 01 11 November 03 11, November 15 11, November 17 11, December 01 11, December 02 11, December 28 11, December 29 11, January 22 12, January 23 12, January 26 12, January 30 12, February 12 12 February 13 12.
Additional 'Best By' Dates include October 7 11, October 9 11, October 10 11, October 16 11, November 2 11 November 16 11, January 29 12.
McCormick Vegetable Dip Mix sold in 1.25-ounce packages, shipped nationwide under UPC code 52100063850 with Best By dates June 08 11, July 09 11, July 28 11, Additional 'Best By' Date July 08 11. McCormick Corn Bread Stuffing sold in 42-ounce (2lb. 10oz.) containers, shipped to Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania and also to Louisiana, Texas.
