Mars Adds New Caramel Bar To Milky Way Portfolio
Mars Chocolate North America has launched Simply Caramel Bar, a new caramel treat in the Milky Way brand portfolio, at stores throughout the US, including club, convenience, grocery, drug stores, mass, specialty and value retailers. The new caramel bar is a blend of Milky Way bar's caramel covered in milk chocolate.
Debra Sandler, chief consumer officer for Mars Chocolate North America, said: The Milky Way Brand Simply Caramel Bar is a delicious addition to our Milky Way Brand family that really makes the caramel the star.
“Our new Simply Caramel Bar celebrates consumers' love for the Milky Way Bar and their love for rich, luscious caramel, to provide the ultimate smooth and creamy snacking experience.
Milky Way Brand was created in 1923 and was sold for a nickel. The company said that Milky Way Bar comes from a mixture of milk, sugar and a few other ingredients.
Mars Chocolate North America is the North American chocolate operations of Mars, a Virginia based private, family-owned company, which operates around 230 sites, including 135 factories, in 68 countries across the world.
