Marky's rolls out new line of French Kosher cheeses at South Florida Whole Foods Stores

FBR Staff Writer Published 20 August 2010

Marky’s Caviar, a direct importer, exporter and distributor of gourmet foods, has launched a new line of French Kosher cheeses at Whole Foods stores in South Florida.

The cheese portfolio features kosher Brie, Camembert Royal and several goat cheeses including Chabichou and French Goat Cheese Pyramid with Ash.

The company has been a vendor-partner to Whole Foods Stores for almost 2 years. It directly imports a large volume of cheeses from France and Italy, and offers a selection of cheeses of different milks and consistencies.

Marky's said that it produces the cheeses using a vegetarian rennet-type product instead of traditional animal-based rennet.

Marky’s Caviar offers a range of gourmet foods to the global hospitality and food service industries. The company said that it is developing new directions in its business.

With its partner, Sturgeon AquaFarms, it is starting an aquaculture operation in Florida, in the US, that will farm various sturgeon species for commercial production of sturgeon meat and domestic beluga caviar.
