Inventure Group Launches Three New Flavors In Burger King Snack Chip Portfolio
The Inventure Group, a snack food manufacturer, has added three new flavors to its Burger King line of snack chips. The three flavors include Hot Fries, Cheese Fries and Hot & Spicy Onion Rings.
These new Burger King flavors add to the line of snacks that includes Ketchup & Fries, Flame Broiled Chips, Original Onion Rings and French Toast Sticks snacks.
All three products come in serving sizes ranging from 0.75oz – 3 ounces, and carry a suggested retail price between $.99 and $1.99. The original Burger King Ketchup & Fries product was launched in 2007. The snack chips are presently sold in around 30 countries, including Scandinavia, Turkey, China, Singapore and Malaysia. The Burger King product line reflects second restaurant licensing agreement for The Inventure Group.
Steve Sklar, senior vice president of marketing for The Inventure Group, said: Our Burger King snacks are really taking off in part because we're able to play off the Burger King brand's popular and well known menu.
“We're able to bring Inventure's snack innovation into the equation and together we're creating snack foods that are way outside the traditional 'chip' landscape, and consumers are gravitating toward them in a big way.
The Inventure Group introduced the TGI Friday's line of ready-to-eat snack chips in 2000. The company will introduce a line of 'at home smoothies' under the Jamba brand to retailer freezers in March of this year.
