Global Franchise subsidiary expands into Australia
Global Franchise Group, a strategic brand management company which focuses on two retail concepts, said that its wholly owned subsidiary for the Marble Slab Creamery brand has signed a master franchise agreement with Miteco Pacific for its expansion into Australia.
The agreement calls for the development of at least 30 Marble Slab Creamery stores over a 10-year term. These stores further plans to expand the Marble Slab Creamery brand in the Asia/Pacific region following its entry into Singapore in 2009.
Global Franchise Group president and CEO Chris Dull said that Australia has a vibrant franchising community and an excellent history of success with the company's TAF retail brand.
“Miteco Pacific’s strong background in the quick service restaurant and casual dining industries, as well as their significant experience in the Asia/Pacific market, made them an ideal master franchisee and we look forward to working with them to introduce the Marble Slab Creamery brand to a new market,” Dull said.
