FruitGuys Launches New TakeHome Farm Fresh Product
The FruitGuys, a provider of farm-fresh fruit to the American workplace, has introduced TakeHome, its new product which brings regional, organic produce directly to employees at work for use at home. TakeHome comes in three different varieties: fruit & veggie, fruit only and veggie.
The company claims that TakeHome is designed for those who do not have access to a Farmer's Market, and offers a convenient way to get regional, organic produce, while also supporting small regional farmers.
TakeHome produce, just like The FruitGuys' office fruit crate products, travels from local farms to homes within two to four days.
The FruitGuys also claims that TakeHome is packed in earth friendly, recycled cardboard crates and printed with soy-based inks.
Chris Mittelstaedt, founder and CEO of The FruitGuys, said: Our message has always been that bringing healthy brain food to the office can boost productivity and improve wellness. The TakeHome now extends that message to millions of Americans by encouraging healthy eating at home.
Customers can set up a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or one-time delivery; select variety and size; and also see what produce is in season throughout the year, on the company's website.
