Campbell Unveils New Select Harvest Soups In Foodservice
Campbell Soup's North America Foodservice division has introduced Select Harvest natural soups in Foodservice. According to the company, the launch of the new line of soups in foodservice will help it address the demand for nutritious options in universities, offices and other non-commercial operations.
The company said that Select Harvest soups' ingredients include chicken stock, tangerine tomatoes, sweet basil and other ingredients. In addition, the company claims to have added a lower sodium natural sea salt, which enables each soup in the new line to meet the sodium level of 480mg per 8oz serving.
Taly Salamon, manager for innovation and business development at Campbell Soup, said: “People are trying to eat healthier, even when they are away from home. Bringing our Select Harvest soups into foodservice allows us to offer more great tasting, 100% all natural options to people eating meals away from home.
Campbell's Select Harvest foodservice soups are packaged by the case, each of which includes three 4-pound recyclable plastic trays of soup. The soups are available now, and are $31-$33 per case.
