Big Al's Steaks Grants First Restaurant Franchise License In Florida

FBR Staff Writer Published 04 March 2010

Big Al’s Steaks, the Philadelphia cheesesteak sandwich franchise, has granted its first restaurant franchise license. The company said that the award of this license is the first move in its planned expansion throughout the US.

Dr Alan (Big Al) Costilo, co-founder and CEO of Big Al's Steaks, said: “We are extremely pleased to have Chris joining the Big Al’s Steaks family. He is bringing his business experience and excitement to the Big Al’s Steaks Brand. We are confident that he is the perfect individual to help develop our franchise.”

Big Al’s Steaks claims to provide Authentic Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches, using thinly sliced Rib-Eye steak (that’s Never Chopped) and Italian Steak Rolls, which are brought in directly from Philadelphia.

The company's menu, in addition to Cheesesteaks, includes Steak Sandwiches, Chicken Philly in Hot Sandwiches section, and Italian Hoagie, Ham Hoagie, Turkey Hoagie and Veggie Hoagie in Cold Sandwiches section. Other items on the menu are Deep Fried Hot Dog, Rib-Eye Sliders, French Fries, and certain drinks.
